“Love is the one and only answer.”
Yoga Concept just announced its charitable project to expand the gift of yoga to everyone: LOVEASANA.
From now on, the boutique will collaborate with non-profit organizations who offer yoga and meditation to underserved populations. One of Yoga Concept’s great desires is to share the benefits of the practice with as many people as possible, so that all can make the most of the advantages that it can bring. LOVEASANA will enable Yoga Concept to commit to improving the physical and emotional well-being of the yoga community.
In partnership with the non-profit Connection Karma, an organization that develops yoga programs for Parisian populations in difficulty, Yoga Concept is launching the LOVEASANA t-shirt. 20% of the proceeds from the sale of the t-shirt will go to Connection Karma to sustain their work of serving others and generating positive actions.
Take action with Karma Yoga! Turn your practice into an opportunity for sharing and love, for as Albert Einstein stated so well, “Love is the one and only answer.”
• Connection Karma : Every week, this organization offers classes open to all. These sessions are donation-based (a minimum of 5€) and the proceeds are used to finance their program of free classes in social centres, for a student scholarship to Ashtanga Yoga Paris, as well as to keep the organization going.
• Tout Est Un : They propose donation-based yoga and meditation classes. The funds are put back into the organization to support their charitable actions in Paris: regular meals in shelters, organization of a food re-distribution network against food waste. They also collect clothing of all types, which is then sorted and redistributed in the streets or in shelters. Some well-being workshops take place in these shelters so that residents can participate for free.
• Studio Yoga République : Every Friday morning from 7h15 to 8h, Studio Yoga République brings you a guided meditation session, open to all (yogis and non-yogis.) Even if the classes are taught pro-bono, a small contribution of 2€ to 5€ will not be refused—all of the proceeds are donated to Plan International, an organization that has been working on behalf of children worldwide for more than 75 years.
• Tout Ça Pour Ça : In partnership with Aurore, a non-profit that houses, cares for and mentors as many as 30,000 people in crisis situations toward self-sufficiency, Tout Ça Pour Ça offers yoga classes twice a week: on Sundays from 17h to 18h30 under the nave of the Archipel (20€, a portion of which is given back to Aurore,) and every Tuesday from 20h to 21h in the multi-purpose room of the Archipel (5€, the entirety of the funds collected will be given to Aurore until the end of June!)
